An efficient approach to multivariate Nakagami-m distribution using Green's matrix approximation
نویسندگان
چکیده
In this letter, an efficient approach for the evaluation of the Nakagamimultivariate probability density function (pdf) and cumulative distribution function (cdf) with arbitrary correlation is presented. Approximating the correlation matrix with a Green’s matrix, useful closed formulas for the joint Nakagamipdf and cdf, are derived. The proposed approach is a significant theoretical tool that can be efficiently used in the performance analysis of wireless communications systems operating over correlative Nakagamifading channels.

Electronic Transmission Wave Function of Disordered Graphene by Direct Method and Green's Function Method
We describe how to obtain electronic transport properties of disordered graphene, including the tight binding model and nearest neighbor hopping. We present a new method for computing, electronic transport wave function and Greens function of the disordered Graphene. In this method, based on the small rectangular approximation, break up the potential barriers in to small parts. Then using the f...
متن کاملBayesian Source Localization with the Multivariate Laplace Prior
We introduce a novel multivariate Laplace (MVL) distribution as a sparsity promoting prior for Bayesian source localization that allows the specification of constraints between and within sources. We represent the MVL distribution as a scale mixture that induces a coupling between source variances instead of their means. Approximation of the posterior marginals using expectation propagation is ...
متن کاملOn the similarity between Nakagami-m Fading distribution and the Gaussian ensembles of random matrix theory
We report the similarity between the Nakagami-m fading distribution and the three Gaussian ensembles of random matrix theory. We provide a brief review of random matrix theory and wireless fading. We show that the Nakagami-m distribution serves as mapping between the three ensembles. The statistics of the wireless fading amplitude, as modeled by Nakagami-m distribution, provide a rare example o...
متن کاملOn Conditional Applications of Matrix Variate Normal Distribution
In this paper, by conditioning on the matrix variate normal distribution (MVND) the construction of the matrix t-type family is considered, thus providing a new perspective of this family. Some important statistical characteristics are given. The presented t-type family is an extension to the work of Dickey [8]. A Bayes estimator for the column covariance matrix &Sigma of MVND is derived under ...
متن کاملExtremely efficient acceptance-rejection method for simulating uncorrelated Nakagami fading channels
Multipath fading is one of the most common distortions in wireless communications. The simulation of a fading channel typically requires drawing samples from a Rayleigh, Rice or Nakagami distribution. The Nakagami-m distribution is particularly important due to its good agreement with empirical channel measurements, as well as its ability to generalize the well-known Rayleigh and Rice distribut...
